It’s not like helm/shoulders are off limits bcus plenty of class sets cross pollinate with them being available for other classes. i think at some point the restrictions on “armor type” and “class sets” should be removed entirely since it’s nonsense most of the time with off pieces of the armor being available for all in the armor type but it’s only some of the pieces with no actual rules regarding them.
Personally i don’t really care if every spec in the game could use it because you’ve got robes on the store that plate users can wear. Rogues having the dark ranger outfit wouldn’t make sense lore wise because you’re a rogue not a ranger, but when have they ever cared for the lore in the past 6 years? I just really hope dark ranger is a sub class to the upcoming hunter talent revamp in DF.
